Something Sweet Dessert Festival
Something Sweet Dessert Festival is more than a celebration of confections — it’s a cultural experience dedicated to honoring the creativity, history, and community that make Black-owned dessert businesses so impactful. From family recipes passed down through generations to innovative twists redefining tradition, Something Sweet shines a light on the artistry and significance of desserts in Black culture.
Beyond indulgence, the festival also brings awareness to an important conversation within our community — the growing impact of diabetes and the need for balance and moderation. Through education, engagement, and empowerment, we aim to show that enjoying something sweet can also be an act of mindfulness and care.
Attendees will savor decadent desserts, engage with talented bakers and chefs, and enjoy live demos, activations, and curated experiences from Black-owned brands. It’s a space to celebrate culture, creativity, and community — all while inspiring a healthier relationship with the sweetness we love.
Join us at Something Sweet Dessert Festival, where flavor meets purpose, and where every bite tells a story of heritage, innovation, and heart.
